The program “A Doctor for You” will be restarted next month. Mobile teams of doctors will travel to localities in Moldova so that the people could have free lung and breast cancer screening tests. Also, the children will be examined by dentists, President Igor Dodon announced after the January 27 meeting with the Parliament Speaker and the Premier, IPN reports.

President Dodon told reporters that the travel expenses incurred by persons suffering from cancer will be covered by the state as from this February.

He also said that at least one X-ray machine will be bought for each district center. The necessary financial resources will be allocated from the health insurance funds. A number of 168 new ambulances will be delivered to Moldova during the next few months. They will be distributed to districts.
