Approximately 1,800 budget-funded employees benefitted from consultative assistance in implementing the law on the common salary system in the budgetary sector in the course of last month through the telephone line 0 8000 1525. Most of the callers asked to be told the size of their salary calculated for December 2018 in accordance with the new salary law, IPN reports.
According to the Center of Information Technology in Finance, over 1,100 of all the callers are salary earners of authorities and budget-funded institutions, while about 600 are employers and accountants of these entities and they asked to be explained provisions of the law and how to calculate the salary in accordance with the new law.
The Ministry of Finance’s Salary Policy and Budget-Funded Employee Monitoring Division said the Division’s staff answered over half of the questions put through the telephone line 0 8000 1525, contacting directly the callers. The other calls are being processed. Solutions to a number of questions can be found in the answers to frequently asked questions published on the Ministry of Finance’s official website.
The special telephone line for providing consultative assistance in implementing the law on the common salary system in the budgetary sector was launched on December 5, 2018 and will work until the end of this February. The calls to 0 8000 1525 (key 6) are free and can be made from any landline or cell phone from Monday through Friday between 8am and 5pm.
The law on the common salary system in the budgetary sector that took effect on December 1, 2018 instituted a common pay grade for all the authorities and budget-funded institutions. The new law covers about 200,000 employees of 2,700 authorities and budget-funded institutions.
