Approximately 40 articles of the Labor Code are being amended at the suggestion of the Ministry of Labor, Social Protection and Family and of civil society. The bill with amendments was approved by the Government, IPN reports.

The most relevant amendments refer to the termination of the individual work contract only by the written consent of the sides, simplification of the procedure for dismissing the manager of the entity, his deputies and the chief-accountant and the banning of firing without the consent of the trade union body.

The document specifies the dismissal procedure when the entity is liquidated or the number of employees is cut and the procedure for firing a person in connection with the transfer to another job and for reinstating employees in their post. It also defines the method of working for the days declared by the Government as nonworking days.

The bill with amendments to the Election Code is to be examined and adopted by Parliament.
