About 5 000 Moldovans crossed Moldovan-Romanian border with small-scale traffic permits
More than 4 700 Moldovan citizens have crossed the Moldovan-Romanian border with small-scale traffic permits since March 31, the Border Guard Service of Moldova informs, quoted by Info-Prim Neo.
The statistical data show the people living in southern Moldova apply for small-scale traffic permits much more intensely than those from the central areas of the country. Most of the Moldovans used the border crossing points Giurgiulesti-Galati, Costesti-Stanca and Cahul-Oancea.
The first small-scale traffic permits were handed over on March 31, under the Convention on Small-Scale Border Traffic signed by the Governments of Moldova and Romania.
