About 60,000 lei stolen from currency exchange facility in Cahul
A currency exchange facility in Cahul was robbed. The thieves stole euros and dollars to the value of about 60,000 lei. According to the Ministry of the Interior, the police arrested two suspects, Info-Prim Neo reports.
The suspects aged 18 and, respectively, 19 are residents of Baurci-Moldoveni village of Cahul district. They had been earlier tried for different offenses. According to the investigators, the two entered the facility with scarves on their faces. They threatened the cashier with a pistol and stole the money.
The suspects are under arrest. They face 6 to 10 years in jail.
