The measures to restrict access to the Chisinau International Airport are extended for another 14 days. Only people who have boarding tickets, personnel performing their duties and aircraft crew members can enter the airport.
The restrictions were imposed on May 1. The Border Police said the measure was necessary to ensure aviation security and avoid “unpleasant situations that may arise at the airport”.
To help the authorities in smoothing the flow of passengers and to prevent congestion in front of the airport, it is recommended to show up at least three hours before the flight time.
