The state-run company Moldova’s Railways has an acting director. This is Iurii Topala, who will manage the company until a new director is appointed.
The company’s spokeswoman Inga Nosatyi has told IPN that Iurii Topala was named acting director based on an order issued by the minister of transport and road infrastructure. It is not yet known when a contest to select a new director will be held.
The company remained without a director after Vladimir Cebotari was appointed as minister of justice in the new Cabinet.
