The state allocates about 10 million lei more for performing examinations for viral chronic hepatitis and hepatic cirrhosis B, C, D for initiating and administering antiviral treatment. The volume of the given services will increase to 11,000 examinations a year, IPN has learned from the National Health Insurance Company.
The medically insured persons who will initiate and receive antiviral treatment for viral chronic hepatitis and hepatic cirrhosis B, C, D can have free lab tests at the following medical-sanitary institutions: National Center for Medical Diagnosis, SRL SC Imunotehnomed and SRL Micromed in central Moldova; SRL Analiticmed in northern Moldova, and Synevo SRL in the southern part of the country.
The services are of a high quality and their costs are covered by the National Health Insurance Company from the mandatory health insurance funds. To have tests, the person can go to one of the aforementioned medical institutions with a referral from the infectious diseases specialist.
