Minister of Transport and Road Infrastructure Iurie Chirinciuc signed an order to dismiss the administrator of the autonomous state-owned enterprise “MoldATSA” (Moldavian Air Traffic Services Authority) Veaceslav Frunze, IPN reports.

In a communique, the Ministry of Transport and Road Infrastructure says that among the reasons for the decision was the unfounded diminution by the director of bonuses intended for the enterprise’s inspectors at a time when these benefits for the administration were illegally kept. The minister noted that the task of the new manager will be to reorganize the administrative apparatus that turned out to be exaggeratedly large and inefficient.

“Even if the employees didn’t receive the salaries on time, the enterprise’s administration continued to receive pays of tens of thousands of lei. Such administration of the public property is inadmissible,” stated Iurie Chirinciuc.

Adrian Boldescu will hold the post of administrator of “MoldATSA” on an interim basis, until a new director is selected at a contest.
