Agreement to promote entrepreneurship among young people

Members of the 46 youth organizations that form part of the National Youth Council of Moldova will benefit from support from the Organization for the Development of Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises (ODIMM) based on a partnership agreement signed on May 18, IPN reports.

According to a press release of the ODIMM, the accord provides that the young people will have access to the training courses, seminars and workshops staged by the Organization within its programs, especially the National Youth Economic Empowerment Program.

The representatives of the two organizations agreed to work out an education program for the purpose and will together organize events centering on the economic empowerment of the youth.

ODIMM director general Iulia Iabanji said the agreement will facilitate access to information about the Organization’s support programs intended for the young people of Moldova. The members of the youth organizations of the National Youth Council will also benefit from the advantages offered by the two business incubators opened by ODIMM in districts.

For his part, the head of the National Youth Council Terentie Carp noted the activities and programs of the ODIMM will enable the young members of the organizations to easier orientate in the business sector and to create new jobs.
