The Agriculture Interventions and Payments Agency will examine the projects that will benefit from financing from the agriculture subsidization fund on the spot, both before and after their approval, Info-Prim Neo reports, quoting a Government Decision. Minister of Agriculture and Food Industry Vasile Bumacov said the Agency, through the Inspections and Control Division, will monitor how the eligibility criteria and contractual conditions for providing non-reimbursable financial assistance are observed, and will take measures to ensure the smooth running of the existent agriculture subsidization system. By other amendments approved by the Government, the duties of the local offices in Ciadar-Lunga and Vulcanesti were transferred to the Comrat local office, while of the Balti local office – to the local offices in Glodeni and Rascani. A sum of 250 million lei was transferred to the agriculture subsidization fund this year for 11 subsidization measures.
