The police arrested a 25-year-old man from Gordinesti on suspicion that he killed a girl from the same village. The girl was stabbed to death in June when she was going to the high school to take a Baccalaureate exam. The man was arrested on July 31 near the state border with Romania. It was not established yet if he was returning home or intended to run away. Spokesman for the Ministry of Internal Affairs Eugen Onica has told Info-Prim Neo that the suspect can be also accused of illegal crossing of the state border, but murder is the main charge. If he is found guilty, he may get life. The killed girl was 18. On June 13 in the morning, she was going to the high school to sit the last Baccalaureate exam. Witnesses said they saw her quarreling with a young man, who was earlier her boyfriend. He stabbed her with a knife and disappeared.
