Andreea Marin-Banica comes to Chisinau to launch book
Andreea Marin-Banica will launch a book with pieces of advice, interviews and helpful ideas titled “Value Life” in Chisinau on May 19. The proceeds from the sale of the album will be donated to mothers who suffer from breast cancer, Info-Prim Neo reports, quoting a communiqué from the Public Association “Show Your Heart”.
The book contains stories about such legendary women as Coco Chanel, Audrey Hepburn, Margaret Thatcher, Karen Blixen, Marie Curie, Ingrid Bergman, Irene Papas, Ana Aslan, Queen Marie of Romania, Maria Rosetti, Carmen Sylva, Simone Veil and contemporary figures who are today one step ahead, are innovative and able to make major changes in the society.
The volume “Value Life” speaks about balance and how one can lead the best life with what one has. It is a book that one should have on the nightstand and return to it every time one needs to find optimism and useful information, it is said in the communiqué.
The hardcover book is 24 x 28 cm and has 256 pages in polychromy. It contains pictures taken by photographer Marius Baragan and other Romanian photographers and publications or from the personal archives of the author and of the personalities asked to take part in this humanitarian project.
The volume includes a DVD as a gift – the documentary “Kilimanjaro 2001” made by Andreea Marin-Banica and Calin Vrabie. Andreea is the first Romanian journalist who went up Kilimanjaro’s Uhuru Peak.
The book “Value Life” will be launched at “Aula Magnifica” of the Free International University on May 19, starting at 13.00.
