Another Balkan joins Sheriff

The Tiraspol-based club Sheriff added another Balkan to its squad by signing a 5-year contract with the Serbian midfielder Milos Adamovic, 21, who was transferred from OFK Belgrad, Info-Prim Neo reports. Milos Adamovic is the pupil of the OFK Belgrad footballing school. In the last season Adamovic was the captain at OFK, where he played more than 40 matches in the national championships. The new Sheriff's midfielder also has 5 caps in the Serbian U-21 team. Adamovic is the fourth footballer from the Balkans to join Sheriff in this transfer season, after the Montenegrins Bacho Nikolic, Marko Djurovic and Zarko Korac, in addition to the older members of the squad Vladimir Volkov and Vladimir Brankovic of Serbia. The new players will supplement the Sheriff squad after the club transferred three key players – Stanislav Namasco, Alexandr Suvorov and Andrei Korneenkov – to foreign clubs. Sheriff are now practicing at a training camp in Cyprus. On Saturday the Tiraspol club will play its final exhibition match, against the Czech club Jablonec, before resuming matches in the national premiership.
