Another Moldovan national that was among the injured of a minibus crash in Russia’s Kaluga region died in hospital. The Emergencies Inspectorate said a hearse has been sent today to repatriate the body of the 43-year-old man.
Eight people, including six Moldovans, were killed in the accident that occurred on August 4 on M3 highway connecting Moscow to Kyiv.
Eight other Moldovans were admitted to a local hospital, and five are already home. Two Moldovan nationals remain hospitalized in Russia until their health improves enough to allow their discharge.
Three vehicles were involved in the crash. All the Moldovans were inside a minibus that was taking them home.
