The Chisinau Appeals Court upheld the sentence of the Criuleni Court of June 5, 2014 by which the man who killed two persons in Magdacesti village of Criuleni district one year ago was jailed for life, while the woman who was his accomplice got 15 years’ imprisonment, IPN reports, quoting the Prosecutor General’s Office.

In the winter of 2013, a woman aged 41 and her son of 16 were found dead in their house. The two were killed with a solid object. The investigators established that the murder was committed by the partner of the victim’s sister, who was also in the home when her sister and her nephew were killed. The two families didn’t go along. The culprits planned the murder during almost a year. In the period the victims were followed to establish their whereabouts and lifestyle.

The decision can be appealed to a higher court.
