Applications for the 2024 National Awards may be submitted to the Ministry of Culture until September 16 inclusive. Remarkable people may endorse only one applicant, under the rules of the competition approved by the jury.

Applications must contain a letter of recommendation from a remarkable person and a curriculum vitae, and, where applicable, a list of publications, scientific works, creative works, literary works published and registered at the National Book Chamber of Moldova, copies of invention patents and patents with their description, information about personal contribution, the results of the implementation of new technologies, materials and techniques.

Scientific works and publications are to be presented in digital format with a scan of the cover page and pages no. 1 and 2, texts must be legible, and the candidate/group of candidates for the National Award must be their author or co-author.

The application letters and letters of recommendation should not exceed one page. They need to be submitted simultaneously and in person at the Chancellery of the Ministry of Culture (Str. Nicolae Iorga, 21, floor 1) or in digital form at chancelleria@mc.gov.md.

Previous holders of the National Award or State Award and their previous entries or parts thereof are not eligible.

The evaluation process will be completed by September 30. The National Award consists of a diploma, a medal and a 100,000 lei prize for each laureate.
