The men's team of the Academy of Economic Studies of Moldova (ASEM) won Moldova's Basketball Cup for the third time in a row, Info-Prim Neo reports. In the final played on December 27, ASEM beat the team of the State Agricultural University of Moldova (UASM) by 75-65. The best scorer of ASEM was Anton Rulevski, who scored 28 points, while of UASM - Nicolae Cojuhari with 21 points. Coach Vasile Scutelnic's team received the trophy, medals and diplomas from the Basketball Federation of Moldova. In the match for the third place, Fireball Tiraspol defeated Patriot Bender 63-62. Maxim Pshinka and Vlad Covaliov were the best scorers of the wining team. They scored by 18 points each.
