The police identified the man who one day ago called the 112 service and said that he would explode a grenade in the Cathedral Park in Chisinau. This is a 62-year-old man from Chisinau who was arrested for intentional misleading about an act of terrorism. The man admitted his guilt, saying he was inebriated when he made the call, IPN reports, quoting the Chisinau Police Division.

Legal action was taken in this case and the man faces a fine of 27,500 lei to 42,500 lei or 180 to 240 hours of community service or up to two years in jail.
