The prices for medicines decreased by 4-11% after Government’s decision to eliminate the old barcode label, the Dita EstFarm and Farmacia Familiei manager announced. These drugstores’ stocks were visited by PM Vlad Filat Thursday, June 24, Info-Prim Neo reports. In a few days, after the current stocks finish, the drugstores will reduce prices, according to Iurie Chirtoaca, quoted by the Government press service. Viorel Chetraru, executive of the Center for Fighting Economic Crimes and Corruption, confirmed people would feel the change in about 11 or 12 days, after the old medicines were sold. The prime minister announced that a Prices Bureau would be opened soon. “We’ll further take the necessary measures so that people in Moldova have access to quality medicines for normal prices”, he said.
