The police are investigating two brothers from Balti for kidnapping a 33-year-old bank employee, Info-Prim Neo reports. According to the press service of the Ministry of the Interior, the police were alerted by the bank’s director. It was established that an employee of the bank was kidnapped in the street by two individuals in the evening of January 22. The two put a sack on the victim’s head and took him away by a car. When they reached the outskirts of Balti municipality, they demanded that the man furnish information about the bank and then abandoned him. The next day the two threatened again the man. The police in Balti arrested the two brothers aged 22 and 25, who are from Balti municipality. During a search of their home, the police found photographs of the victim’s family. The men admitted their guilt. They face 4 to 10 years in jail.
