Bessarabian students remain without places in Romanian dormitories

Even if the Government of Romania granted more awards to the Bessarabians this year, a large part of the students were not allotted places in dormitories. For example, the Transylvania University of Brasov accommodated the Moldovan students in reading halls, Info-Prim Neo's correspondent in Romania reports. The University in Brasov does not have sufficient places in dormitories and the administration of the education establishment decided to accommodate the Bessarabian students temporarily in the library's reading halls. Several reading halls will remain dormitories for an indefinite period. The administration of the Transylvania University says that the Moldovan students will be the first to be provided with places in dormitories when the remaining places are redistributed. More than a half of the Bessarabian students in Romania do not benefit from places in dormitories, especially those who pay tuition fees.
