The Economic Court of Appeals and the Economic Panel of the Supreme Court of Justice rejected the lawsuit filed by the Prosecutor General's Office (PG) against SRL Biotex-Com, Info-Prim Neo reports. In a communique, the PG says it identified serious deviations from the legislation committed when Moldsilva Forestry Agency leased out wooded land to Biotex-Com. According to the prosecutors, on March 10, 2008 Moldsilva and SRL Biotex-Com signed a contract for the lease of wooded land for hunting. The company was allotted about 700,000 hectares of land in the forests Tiganca and Rotunda, at the Ivancea Forest Company and IS Orhei. The lease expires on March 9, 2057. The annual rent is 200,000 lei. In breach of the law, Biotex-Com erected a number of buildings and set up a pheasant farm and a fish pond. It also fenced the place with barbed wire, banning access to that land. The Supreme Court of Justice's decision is irrevocable.
