The Chisinau International Airport has experienced a bomb threat. A person informed that a bomb was put in the baggage of the Chisinau-Rome flight. The 150 passengers aboard were evacuated to the airport’s terminal, spokesman for the Ministry of the Interior Eugen Onica has told Info-Prim Neo. Eugen Onica said the phone call was made at 13.05. Adriana Doruc, PR manager of the Chisinau International Airport, said two calls were made at one of the ticket offices of Air Moldova – the first at 12.20, while the second at 12.31. A man said a bomb was planted on the plane that was to leave for Rome at 12.40. According to Adriana Doruc, the passengers were accompanied to the terminal, while the plane was isolated and is being checked.
