Bomb threat at Chisinau airport was false
The bomb scare at the Chisinau International Airport was false, spokesman for the Ministry of the Interior Eugen Onica has said. No explosives were found on the Chisinau-Rome flight, Info-Prim Neo reports.
The plane was to take off at 12.40. Twenty minutes before the flight, a man phoned one of the ticket offices of Air Moldova and informed that a bomb was put in the passengers’ baggage.
The 150 passengers aboard were evacuated to the airport’s terminal.
The other flights landed and took off according to schedule, representatives of the airport announced.
