A bomb scare was reported at the Mimi Castle Winery in Bulboaca village of Anenii Noi district. The employees were evacuated. An operational group of the Anenii Noi Police Inspectorate is examining the place.

Press officer of the Anenii Noi Police Inspectorate Silvia Vetcu has told IPN that the 902 service of Chisinau at 10:10am informed the guard service of the Anenii Noi Police Inspectorate about a caller who said he would explode a bomb at the Mimi Castle because he is angry with the winery’s personnel.

The police determined the phone number from which the call was made. The author is to be identified. No information about this has been yet provided. It is not known if this is male or female, an adult or a child.

Today, the Mimi Castle hosts a congress that will involve 40 invitees from the Russian Federation. Twenty employees of the winery were involved in organizational matters.
