Four Moldovans have been caught smuggling cigarettes to the value of 100,000 lei into Romania this morning, Info-Prim Neo reports. In a communique, the Border Guard Service says four persons were unloading boxes from a minibus and taking them into a boat on the bank of the Prut. The border police seized more than 40,000 packets of cigarettes. The four individuals aged between 25 and 35 are being investigated.
