The Broadcasting Coordination Council (BCC) fined the television channels Euro TV and СТС/TV Dixi for transmitting movies that contain indecent and violent scenes during the banned hours, with the incorrect placement of the warning signs, Info-Prim Neo reports. Some of members of the Council criticized harshly the committed violations, saying that the children’s interests should be above everything for every broadcaster. The BCC decided that the two channels should be fined as they were earlier warned publicly for similar infringements. Euro TV was fined 3 600 lei, while СТС/TV Dixi – 5 400 lei, which is the highest fine. The fines were set depending on the number of violations. The decision was taken by a unanimous vote.
