The Cabinet approved the draft law to ratify the Agreement between the Republic of Moldova and the European Union on the country’s association to the EU4Health program, which was signed in Brussels on February 7, IPN reports.

The association with this program will enable the Republic of Moldova to take part in all the launched project contests. This will contribute to strengthening the health system’s capacities by improving its resilience and efficiency of resources, including for increasing preparedness for emergency situation, says the note to the bill.

With a €5.3 billion during the 2021-2027 period, the program is intended for health entities and nongovernmental organizations of the EU member states or third countries associated to the program.
