A car was completely destroyed by fire last night near the village of Cirnateni, Causeni. There were five people inside, including a one-year-old, when the vehicle caught fire.
The Emergencies Inspectorate said in a press release that the car was coming from Ukraine to Chisinau. According to preliminary findings, a short circuit was the most likely cause of the fire.
Fortunately, no one was injured in the accident.
