A Fiscal Lottery will take place in Moldova each year as of January 1, 2020. The procedure was approved by the Cabinet, which decided that the lottery will be organized by the State Tax Service, IPN reports.

The Fiscal Lottery will involve all the transactions performed in Moldova with cards issued by local licensed banks. The value of transactions will not be lower than 30 lei.

The lottery will be held annually in four stages (quarterly). Two special editions will take place on the occasion of Christmas and Easter.

As many as 175 awards to the value of 1,000 lei will be provided at the four stages at the end of each quarter. A number of 100 awards of 1,500 lei each will be given at the special editions.
