The number of persons suffering from viral infections in the municipality of Chisinau increased by 19% compared with a week earlier, the head of the Health Division Luminita Suveica informed in the February 13 meeting of Chisinau City Hall officials, Info-Prim Neo reports. More than 2 100 cases of viral infections were recorded in the municipality last week, as against 1 700 cases a week before. Seventy-three persons were hospitalized, 69 of whom children. The number of cases of traumas has also risen. More than 400 persons were admitted last week to the Emergency Hospital and the Traumatology Hospital in Chisinau.
