A man from Causeni district was sentenced to 10 years in jail for beating his partner to death, Info-Prim Neo has learned from the Prosecutor General's Office. According to the prosecutors, after abusing alcohol the 51-year-old man started to beat the woman. The woman fell and hit her head on the door threshold. The man left the woman lying and left. When he returned in three days, he found her dead in the same place. Earlier, the man had been sentenced for thefts and robberies and served 23 years in prison.
