The National Bank of Moldova calls on the depositors of the bankrupt Investprivatbank to remain calm and be sure that they will recover their money. The first sums have been already paid back, the central bank said, quoted by Info-Prim Neo. “A sum of 45.7 million lei and foreign currency to the value of 79.1 million lei was transferred to Banca de Economii SA on the first two days (July 1 and 2) of the initiation of the repayment process. A number of 1,188 deposits will be repaid from the given sums,” the bank says in a communiqué. In order to avoid crowdedness and fuss, the bank asks those that deposited money in branches in districts to go to the local offices of Banca de Economii and open accounts there after obtaining an authorization from the local subdivisions of Investprivatbank located in Anenii Noi, Balti, Soroca, Causeni, Cahul, Cimislia, Comrat, Edinet, Hancesti, Ialoveni, Orhei, Rezina, Telenesti, and Ungheni.
