A film about the power of faith in the history of the Moldovan people will be screened in the Parliament Building on April 13. The same day, the Parliament Building will host a charity fair designed to support children from socially deprived groups, IPN reports.
According to the legislature’s press service, the short film will be shown to MPs and members of the Government by producer Nicu Tarna and the protagonist, bishop of the Wooden Church Sergiu Curnic. The event will involve the Metropolitan Bishop of Chisinau and All Moldova, His Holiness Vladimir, Metropolitan Bishop of Bessarabia Petru, Bishop of Chisinau of the Roman-Catholic Bishoprics Anton Cosa, and Chief Rabbi of Chisinau and Moldova Yosef-Yitzhak Abelschi.
The traditional charity fair in support of socially disadvantaged children will be opened at 10am on April 13. The community centers of Chisinau and services intended for children with disabilities will exhibit handmade works, such as handcrafts on Easter themes, paintings, Gobelins tapestry works and icons.
The fair will be visited by MPs, ministers, functionaries of the Parliament’s Secretariat and church officials.
