A seven-year-old boy and a woman aged 25 from Stolniceni, Edinet died in a house fire caused by a short circuit, IPN reports. Another four persons, including two children of six years and, respectively two months, were admitted to the hospital in Edinet.

Vitalie Schiopu, deputy head of the Emergencies Division, has told IPN that those who were in the house were taken out by neighbors with burns and carbon monoxide poisoning. Two of them died.

The child who died is the son of the house owner, while the young woman is their niece. The two hospitalized children suffered first- and second-degree burns. The older one is in a serious condition.
