China can ensure stability in Moldova’s exports, ambassador

The Republic of Moldova needs a solid economic partner that will ensure stability in exports, China being a country that provides this benefit, Moldovan Ambassador to China Anatol Urecheanu said in an interview for the radio station China International. According to the portal romanian.cri.cn, quoted by Info-Prim Neo, the diplomat approved of the traditional friendship between the two countries. Last year, the Chinese assistance to Moldova increased, while the exchange of high-level visits was efficient. The Moldovan official stressed the necessity of the visits and experience exchange, which show the two countries’ political will to have good cooperation relations. “The particularity for China within this partnership is the lack of political conditions,” said the ambassador. He also said that those who do not know China, do not know the modern world. According to statistics for 2012, trade between Moldova and China in 11 months amounted to US$130 million, up 35% compared with the same period of 2011. One of the projects of the bilateral partnership for 2013 is a tourism project that envisions the reproduction of the well-known wine cellars “Cricova” on the Yangtze, respecting the traditional Bessarabian style.
