Chisinau Airport takes precaution measures
The Chisinau International Airport has introduced a series of measures to prevent the spread of pandemic flu, it said in a press release, quoted by Info-Prim Neo.
The measures include special training for the airport personnel, including customs officers, provided by the Aeronautical Hygiene Service. The Service also undertakes to meet all the aircraft landing at the airport.
Masks will be available on board, while all the areas and surfaces which passengers come in contact with will be disinfected more frequently, following the rules prescribed by the National Center for Preventive Medicine. Sterile masks and gloves will also be available to airport personnel.
Other measures include the distribution of leaflets with information about how to detect the first symptoms of the pandemic flu and how to prevent the disease. If need be, ill passengers will be isolated and then transported to hospital by special crews.
The Airport urges the passengers to get informed about all the measures that must be taken before and after traveling abroad.
