The Chisinau – Bucharest evening flight was cancelled in both of the directions, while a plane of Air Moldova airline, which was to come to Chisinau from Moscow, was redirected to the airport in Kiev owing to the poor visibility in Moldova’s capital, IPN reports.
At 16.30, delays were announced for eight flights. The airport’s PR manager Tatiana Popa said the Chisinau- Moscow flight, operated by the company S7, is expected to land in Chisinau at 18.00, with a delay of 12 hours.
The weather forecasters extended the yellow code advisory for fog for December 25. The visibility will be bad, less than 200 meters.
