The capital city is preparing for the Easter holidays. On Easter and Low Sunday, the doctors and the police will work according to a special program so as to ensure public order and the Chisinau residents’ safety, IPN reports.
According to the Health Division head Luminita Suveica, by a doctor will be on guard in family doctors centers from 8.00 until 16.00 on May 4 and from 08.00 to 14.00 on May 5.
An ambulance will be on duty at the Metropolitan Cathedral “God’s Birth” in Chisinau on Easter. On Low Sunday, there will be three ambulances at Saint Lazarus Cemetery and one ambulance at the “Armenesc” Cemetery.
The deputy head of the Chisinau Police Division Silviu Musuc said the private vehicles will have access to Saint Lazarus Cemetery only based on special permits. The sale of alcoholic beverages inside and near cemeteries is banned. The persons who will be found under the influence will be taken to Saint Trinity Hospital of Chisinau.
“There will be a large number of visitors at cemeteries of May 9 and we will have to collect the waste on Saturday and Sunday. In order to avoid jams inside the cemeteries, the vehicles will not be allowed to go in,” said Ludmila Botan, head of the Funeral Services Company.
This year Easter is celebrated on May 5, while Low Sunday on May 12 and 13. School students are on vacation from May 3 until May 14.
