The Chisinau City Hall informs that yesterday’s rain and wind tore down or partially affected trees in 23 locations, Info-Prim Neo reports. Most affected was the Buiucani district. On 3 Buiucani Street a slate roof fell over three automobiles, and on 10 A. Lapusneanu Street the roof of a two-storey house was damaged. Starting yesterday evening, employees of the agency responsible for green areas began repairing damaged roofs and removing downed trees. The Exdrupo service has already finished cleaning the streets and transporting the mud and waste brought by the rainwater. Last evening’s rain complicated vehicle traffic on Calea Iesilor Street and Ion Creanga Street. On these addresses the situation went back to normal after the manholes were cleaned. Today morning the electrical lines that had been affected by the rain were also repaired.
