For the first time the inhabitants of Chisinau municipality will be able to follow online the road covered by the petitions and applications lodged with the City Hall. Related information will be available on the Chisinau administration's website, Info-Prim Neo reports. The service forms part of a project to set up an electronic document management system at the Chisinau City Hall. Costel Todor, vice president of SIVECO Romania that is implementing the project, said that this project is designed to increase the document circulation speed, optimize the work of the coordinated divisions and improve quality as a public organization. According to him, the project ensures the necessary information and support in the correspondence and dialogue with the partners and backers. The information will reach the City Hall by email, scanner, and fax and will be transferred to the document store, where they will be registered and indexed. The information published on the website will be permanently updated. Costel Todor said the electronic monitoring of the order implementation process and document archiving is very important. The project is implemented by SIVECO Romania S.A. in cooperation with UNDP Moldova, with financial assistance from the Government of Romania and Soros Foundation Moldova. The total cost of the project is US$200,000.
