An NGO Fair will be held in the central park of Chisinau on June 9. The visitors could take part in workshops and masterclasses, social experiments, exhibitions of handicrafts made by persons with special needs, first aid giving demonstrators and other interactive activities, IPN reports, quoting the website of the development organization FHI 320.

The event will mark the completion of the grants program of the Moldova Partnerships for Sustainable Civil Society project that is implemented by FHI 360 and is financed by USAID.

The Moldova Partnerships for Sustainable Civil Society is a five-year program that cooperated with over 250 national NGOs. It supported the organizations with grants, mentoring and training.

The event will include a concert that will feature such national artists and bands as Aura, Cornelia and Marcel Stefanet,  “7KLASE” and “Cuibul”.

The NGO Fair starts at 11am. The activities will last until 2pm.
