A Swedish film festival – “Cinema Nistru” – dedicated to the national day of Sweden will take place in Chisinau for the first time. Five movies premiered in 2010-2011 will be screened within the festival – on June 9-13 in Chisinau, while on June 16-20 in Tiraspol, Info-Prim Neo reports.
In Chisinau, the pictures will be shown at the Gaudeamus Cultural Center starting at 6pm. The festival will be opened by the movie “Simon and the oak trees” (2011). On June 10, there will be screened the drama “One hundred times stronger” (2010), on June 11 – the comedy “Sound of noise” (2010), while on June 12 and 13 – the dramas “One way to Antibes” (2011) and “Sebbe” (2010). In Tiraspol, the festival will have the same program. Entrance is free of charge.
The event is organized by the Embassy of Sweden in cooperation with the Swedish Institute and the Swedish Film Institute.
