A 28-year-old woman from Chisinau is suspected of trafficking in children. The Ministry of the Interior says on its website that the woman had prostituted herself for over 10 years, but has recently become a pimp, procuring a girl aged 16, Info-Prim Neo reports. The police caught the minor girl in the act of providing sexual services in a Chisinau apartment. The procurer asked by 400 lei for such services from the customers. Legal action was taken against the woman over trafficking in children. The procurer confessed that she was also pimping for another two young women. The woman faces 10 to 15 years behind bars.
