On August 27, church bells across the country will ring out starting at 11:00AM in celebration of Moldova’s Independence Day.
This was announced by the Orthodox Church of Moldova, who added that a celebratory service will be held “for peace and unity in the whole country”.
The presidents Volodymyr Zelensky of Ukraine, Klaus Iohannis of Romania and Andrzej Duda of Poland will be in Chisinau on August 27 for Independence Day festivities.
