The Citizenship by Investment program will be adjusted to add amendments proposed by the Ministry of Economy & Infrastructure and approved by the Government.

The amendments establish, among other, the detailed eligibility criteria of the applicants, the exact papers to be submitted and the fees to be paid.

Notably, the main applicants shall transfer a non-reimbursable amount of €100,000 to the National Sustainable Development Fund, and each family member will pay €15,000. If a family is composed of five or more members, the entire fee will be just €155,000. Applicants shall also make a minimum investment of €250,000 in at least one strategic area.

A company could be hired to evaluate if applicants meet the requirements.
