Chisinau City Hall suspended the position of an employee of the general Division for Architecture, Urbanism and Land Relations, after being filmed when taking a bribe. The video was shown on several TV channels, reports Info-Prim Neo. The City Hall pointed out, in a communiqué, that it took measures on the case. On the Division level, the disciplinary committee was ordered to start proceedings on the case. No legal actions can be taken at the moment, because the employee is on medical leave for three days. Several TV channels have recently shown video imagery in which the employee of the general Division for Architecture, Urbanism and Land Relations Vasile Ungureanu is caught taking a bribe. From Ungureanu’s dialogue with another person it is understood that he received €300 from the representative of a firm from the capital. It is supposed that the sum was only the first payment, and that Ungureanu was a middleman between the company and the judges who were going to rule in favor of the economic agent.
