The financial assistance provided in 2023 from trade union and employers funds from which state social insurance contributions are not calculated is 11,700 lei. If this is higher, mandatory state social insurance contributions are calculated from the sum that exceeds 11,700 lei, the National House of Social Insurance (CNAS) explained after the Government approved the average official salary for 2023, IPN reports.

The monthly insured income of salary earners that are residents of IT parks represents 68% of the average official salary. This way, the monthly insured income of these employees next year will be 7,956 lei. The minimum common tax rate for 2023 for these salary earners will be 30% of the average official salary for next year.

The Government decision on the approval of the average official salary for 2023 was published today in the Official Gazette. The average official salary for next year is 11,700 lei.
