The National Social Insurance Company (CNAS) said it made a final transfer of 18 million lei in respect of payments for temporary incapacity and another one of 24 million lei to pay pensions.

CNAS said in a press release that in August pensions, allowances, compensations and other social welfare benefits were paid in full, to a total amount of 1.989 billion lei.

Given that August 27-31 are days off due to national holidays, CNAS is advising beneficiaries who don’t receive their money directly on debit cards to make sure that they collect it until then from the respective service providers, usually post offices.
